The Ball for BMW TimeTrekker is one of our favourite sports watches. As its name implies, this watch is co-branded with German automotive manufacturer BMW.
What happens when the Ball for BMW TimeTrekker along with the Lego minifigure Extreme Daredevil 2 Dex-treme meet the BMW 225xe Active Tourer iPerformance?
Do note that the BMW 225xe Active Tourer iPerformance is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) that is relatively silent when its engine is in electric mode.

There are two versions of the Ball for BMW TimeTrekker which was introduced in 2015; one with a black dial and another that is with blue. In our video above, the Ball for BMW tImeTrekker with the blue dial is featured.
What we appreciate about this piece is subtle placement of the well-known BMW logo on the dial, found at 3 o’clock, just beside the day and date displays.
The screwed-in crown and the sapphire display case back also feature the BMW logo. Another design inspiration from BMW is the textured dial. The Ball for BMW TimeTrekker was designed by Magali Métrailler who was formerly a designer from Jaeger-LeCoultre.
The hints of orange, on the 30, 45 and 60 minute references and the 200 metres inscribed on the dial (to indicate its water resistance) are indications of the sporty nature of this watch. It is also worthwhile to note that the Ball for BMW TimeTrekker is also equipped with the brand’s Amortiser shock absorber system.
The ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel has a black chrome finish and it is a nice complement to the blue dial.
