The Black Safari Flying Tourbillon, introduced in 2014 at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva, is Ralph Lauren’s second high-end complication following the RL67 Tourbillon of 2013.

The Calibre RL167 automatic movement is used in this Black Safari Flying Tourbillon.

The case of this sporty tourbillon wristwatch is in shot-blasted stainless steel. This 44.8mm diameter case is 11.2mm thick, similar to the RL67 Tourbillon.

Unlike the RL67 Tourbillon, Arabic numerals are used for the hour indexes in the Black Safari Flying Tourbillon.

From what we understand, the black alligator strap was made by an Italian artisan specially chosen by the brand.

The refined sporty style of Ralph Lauren’s Black Safari Flying Tourbillon is enhanced by brown elm burl wood surrounding the matt black dial that is secured by four screws.
