Why is Piaget’s Limelight Stella ladies watch special?

Firstly, this is what the brand proclaims as “the first complication watch specifically dedicated to woman”. Simply put, a complication is any other feature other than the display of the hour, minutes and seconds.

With regards to Piaget’s Limelight Stella watch, the complication is the moon phase display. The Limelight Stella was designed and developed at the brand’s Manufacture at La Côte-aux-Fées and Geneva.

Secondly, the watch is typical of Piaget’s style, especially in terms of design originality. The case for example, is described as “a subtle oval-in-a-circle motif that continues to the heart of the dial”.

Moreover, there are two diamond-set lines below the dial aperture of the moon phase display. It is in such fine details that Piaget’s appeal is heightened.
